Laser treatment over the years has boomed in popularity for cosmetic procedures. Here at the Glow Aesthetic Center, we are proud to offer you the newest and most innovative laser technology available on the market. This treatment is available to individuals of all skin types and hair color.
Laser Hair Removal
The Glow Aesthetic Center is proud to offer our patients the Quanta 4v light system. This is the most advanced technology available on the market for laser treatments. This treatment is FDA approved and combines the Alexandrite and Nd:YAG lasers for maximum effectiveness. By custom tailoring the wavelengths emitted based on your skin type, we can pinpoint the melanin on your hair follicle while keeping your skin safe.
Our laser facial uses the Quanta 4v Nd:YAG to treat blemishes such as scars, age spots, or wrinkles. This non-invasive treatment uses innovative processes to stimulate your skin’s production of collagen. Collagen promotes healthy looking skin by treating volume loss, tightness, and softens your skin.
Laser Vein Removal
Telangiectasia is the medical term for visible veins, which look like spider veins, lesions, or broken blood vessels on the surface of your skin. Laser vein removal focuses light to emit wavelengths that red blood cells absorb, causing the vein to collapse and disappear. This treatment is a fast and easy way to treat a variety of vein sizes and depths
Laser Nail Fungus Removal
This treatment uses the Quanta 4v Nd:YAG to create heat that penetrates the nail and kills nail fungus. In addition, our treatment stimulates your body’s production of collagen to naturally rejuvenate and revitalize your nails. Our laser nail fungus removal provides long lasting results without any side effects unlike creams or over the counter medication.
Longer wavelength treatment is preferred for treating larger or deeper blood vessels because of its ability to penetrate deeper into tissue. Low melanin absorption allows the blood vessel to be safely heated without the risk of epidermal hypopigmentation.
For smaller blood vessels typically found in the face, 532 nm wavelengths are optimal.
Two gold standard wavelengths for vascular treatments:
532 nm (green laser) is an ideal treatment for blood vessels located around the face. It is a PURPURA FREE laser.
1064 nm laser treatment uses infrared technology not visible to the human eye. It is more suitable when higher penetration and lower melanin absorption is needed. This wavelength is optimal for treating leg vascular lesions.
Our Alexandrite laser uses 755 nm wavelengths is optimal for treating vascular lesions, hemostasis, and the removal or permanent reduction of unwanted hair for skin types I-VI. This treatment is also effective in treating wrinkles and pigmented lesions.
Our Nd_YAG laser treatment uses 1064 nm short and long pulse wavelengths for treating psoriasis, rosacea, port wine stains, warts, hemangiomas, telangiectasia, venous lake, leg and spider veins, varicose veins, poikiloderma, striae, scars, lentigos (age spots), skin tags, keratoses, tattoos (helps reduced the intensity of blue/back tattoos), solar lentigos or sun spots, café au lait macules, seborrheic keratoses, nevi, chloasma, verrucae, and plaques. Patients with lesions typically respond well from laser treatment compared to other treatments. Laser treatments are also effective for treating facial, periocular, or periorbital wrinkles. In addition, it is effective for the treatment of pseudofolliculitis (PFB) and for the reduction or removal of unwanted hair.
The Nd:YAG 1064 nm short pulse and long pulse laser is intended for coagulation and hemostasis of benign vascular lesions such as, but not limited to, port wine stains, hemangiomas, warts, telangiectasia, rosacea, venous lake, leg and spider veins and poikiloderma of Civatte and treatment of benign cutaneous lesions such as warts, scars, striae and psoriasis. In addition, the laser is intended for the treatment of benign pigmented lesions such as, but not limited to, lentigos (age spots), solar lentigos (sun spots), cafe au lait macules, seborrheic keratoses, nevi, chloasma, verrucae, skin tags, keratoses, tattoos (significant reduction in the intensity of blue and/ or black tattoos), and plaques. The laser is also indicated for pigmented lesions to reduce lesion size, for patients with lesions that would potentially benefit from aggressive treatment, and for patients with lesions that have not responded to other laser treatments. The laser is also indicated for the treatment of facial wrinkles and wrinkles such as, but not limited to, periocular and periorbital wrinkles. It is indicated for the removal of unwanted hair, for the stable long-term, or permanent hair reduction through selective targeting of melanin in hair follicles, and for the treatment of pseudofolliculitis barbae (PFB). Our laser treatment works for all Fitzpatrick skin types I-VI, including tanned skin types and helps reduce reg pigmentation in hypertrophic and keloid scars. The Nd:YAG is intended to help coagulate and promote hemostasis of vascular lesions to treat a number of medical conditions.
The Nd:YAG and Alexandrite Integrated Skin Cooler lessen discomfort to provide an almost painless experience. This cooling system helps cool down your skin prior and during treatment so you suffer no side effects during or after treatment.
